Role Overview 

For one of our strategic partners, recognized in the field of energy data management, we are searching for long‑term new colleagues to strengthen their development team and support their modernization efforts.

Your Responsibilities 

• Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing backend systems 
• Develop and support applications using Java 21/25 LTS 
• Work within an agile development environment alongside cross‑functional teams 
• Troubleshoot issues, ensure long‑term stability, and improve code quality 
• Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders 
• Contribute to technical decisions, documentation, and continuous improvement 

Your Profile 

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field(or equivalent experience) 
• Strong experience in Java (preferably Java 21/25 LTS) 
• Experience working with or maintaining backend architectures 
• Solid understanding of software design, clean code, and testing practices 
• Very good German language skills (B2 or higher) and good English skills 
• Independent, solution‑oriented, and structured working style 
• Ability to collaborate in distributed and multicultural teams 

Additional Skills That Will Give You a Strong Advantage 

• Experience with NetBeans RCP 
• Familiarity with Bitbucket 
• Working experience with Linux
